[Namibia] Exhib at the beach

We stayed two nights in the Skeleton Coast. We n ’ not see the time passing between photos d ’ stripping on the beach, observation of the animals and the trips in the desert ! Loved this place, be isolated from civilization is very relaxing and exotic. It's been a crazy. We lost at the end of the world and in the middle of the desert ! We have seen full of ’ fur seals.

The weather is very changeable in this part of Namibia. We're never sure of what awaits us next hours. We go from hot to cold, big blue sky grey in a snap. It's pretty confusing !

We went to see the sea lions - about 100 000 topics… Yes Yes- by being well covered ! We did not to strut your stuff on the place of observation, because there are many children. We made the beach a bit more far however, where we were certain of not hitting anyone !

Hunted for their fur, these sea lions have nearly disappeared at the beginning of the last century. Slaughter quotas are currently allowed by the Namibian authorities every summer. Official reason : sea lions are proliferating too quickly and threaten biodiversity. Unofficial reason : the fur trade still exists, the skins are then resold to feed a certain “Mode”. No glamour at all, a few small skeletons along the sand. Hyenas and jackals will delight. It's a pinch in the heart. Unfortunately, It is the nature, This isn't a zoo. When we meet him, He must accept it with all that she has more beautiful, but also more cruel.

We are all fallen under their spell. It's all the fun times, impressive and endearing to watch. In practice, It smells very bad (like fish to full tube) and it is very noisy (between Chewbacca and a rabid sheep), but it's absolutely adorable ! When we left, We puions all in the car… Our clothes are imbued with their fragrance, typical herring fermented Saur. We loved spending time in their company and being around them so close. Magical in every way, their memory is imperishable. I confess to have received one of the tip of the finger, It's all soft !
