2020, we had opted for a trip to Haute Savoie. 2021, we had to explore the world #8217 the butt in the #8217 air and why not succeed in a naughty meeting ! Our suitcases landed in the Canary Islands. It’ is an archipelago composed of eight islands. Although #8217 Europe is in the midst of a fourth wave of Delta variants, we didn’ encounter any problems related to the pandemic during our fifteen days of travel. It has been transparent : no curfew, no sanitary pass (except in hotels). #8217 Not being able to choose only one island #8217, we decided to discover three of them#8217 : Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife. We really liked Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. We liked Tenerife less, you will see fewer naughty photos for the shot.

This #8217 is a destination we would never have chosen outside #8217 Covid. We love picturesque and natural places and the Canary Islands have always embodied – in our eyes – the excesses of mass tourism with hotels similar to #8217-building bars, denatured and overcrowded coastlines, attractions that are not very respectful of Nature (motorized charters to observe cetaceans as closely as possible, camel ride tied to one another by ropes…).
So why did you choose the Canary Islands ? Because we are in need of a change of scenery and the volcanic #8217 omnipresence seduces us greatly. We also focused our trip #8217 make the most of the natural landscapes and volcanoes.. More prosaically, the #8217 archipelago is located off the coast of Morocco, but belongs to #8217 Spain, three thousand kilometers in the South of France. Sanitary measures are flexible and restrictions similar to those put in place in France. To everything, misfortune is good. Hotels only host #8217 50 % of the clientele. So we seized the opportunity #8217 be able to discover the #8217 archipelago with fewer people.. It’’s dead. I dare #8217 not imagine what it looks like in normal times.
Weather level, “the eternal spring #8217” seemed oversold to us, but we may have played bad luck. We live in the Var, our climate reference system is probably also distorted. We had more #8217 feeling of living a “eternal autumn” ! In Lanzarote, the climate was execrable for five days : drizzle, strong wind, from 13° to 18° inland. The seaside remained sunny every afternoon and temperate at 27/28°. Gran Canaria, the north offered us a weather very similar to that of Lanzarote, a few degrees more. The south was very pleasant on the other hand. For Tenerife, it was good during the day, but cool in the evening.
We were very pleasantly surprised by this trip. There was a sincere fear of #8217 being disappointed.. Canarians are jovial and festive, they often sing and are voluble. They help nicely and chat easily. The food is good, but very fat. As a great philosopher would say : “Fat, that'#8217 s life !”. The goat stew seduced our taste buds and the papas arrugadas (wrinkled potatoes) are a safe bet ! Alcohols are (Too much) well served. The prices are very attractive from every point of view. We had been praised for the great openness of #8217 sexual mind and very sexy outfits in Spain and honestly, it really doesn't change from France. In any case compared to the South-East, #8217 not seen any notable differences.
Landscape level, we’s been full of mirettes. We let ourselves #8217 be seduced and we spent a wonderful fortnight. We even met Anette Home ! We were impressed by the brutality of Lanzarote's volcanic landscapes with lava fields as far as the eye can see.. We walked on caldera, we entered craters. We had the impression #8217 #8217 being apprentice vulcanologists. We were seduced by the mountain landscapes of Gran Canaria, the history #8217 of the villages and beaches of Maspalomas. This island prides itself on #8217 being liberated and LGBTQ+ Friendly. We met a naughty Norwegian in the dunes while taking nude photos. Finally, we felt very small #8217 when we climbed to the top of the Teide volcano in Tenerife. It’is the highest peak #8217 in Spain in 3700 metres of altitude #8217.
The Canary Islands are a land of contrasts between the blue-grey of the #8217 Atlantic Ocean, the coruscante whiteness of houses and the black basalt of volcanoes. We go from the beach to the mountains in an hour. Behind the huge resort soulless and the many tourist traps, there is an authenticity to discover.
