[South Africa] Safari, out of Africa

The safari hotel, in the Kruger Park, we were lucky enough to have a garden directly overlooking the South African bush. Animals flock freedom and our room is reputed to be a good spot, It is a crossing point. There is no barrier. Our ranger told us that a lion once went to bed on the roof of the room. Neighbouring room met for their one… Hyena in the night ! For us, nothing scary and creepy. Came to visit us a large kudu and a waterbuck (a kind of cute Antelope).

We didn't get too much chance to enjoy the pool, because, in doing two daily safaris from 3:30 / 4 h each, our days are full !

We stayed three days in this haven of peace. Everything was absolutely perfect : our friends and our complicity, the pace of life and the beauty of the place, the lodge and the room, staff and rangers, the flora and fauna, gourmet meals every day… When it was time to go, It has been really hard. We stayed 1 more week without problem ! We were at the end of stay and rather tired, We just played my man and me. Our friend remained at siester all day, exhausted by this wonderful trip, and Badgegirl took advantage of the facilities of the lodge to relax.
