Of the 26 to the 28 July, We went to see our friends in South Africa at Lyon, they decided to spend the week. This is done 5 years that we know and a beautiful friendship was born between us despite the distance. Old Lyon is very nice, lovely and alive. We were between St. George and St. John. How to combine ass and culture ? By a few showing off see ! This makes walking fun !
We stayed in an old building. A long hallway leads to the street. We are here on the ground floor.

Although Paris of origin (not by parisianism but to say that buildings, I've seen), I was very surprised by the buildings. They are… How to say ? Weird ! The same building has several stairs leading to other buildings ! It's strange as a concept and it should not be easy to explain to people who come to visit ! Our friends, stairs - under construction- and bridges led to neighbouring buildings unless there is a courtyard. This is a good opportunity to show off : several buildings, plenty of windows, as many neighbors, a construction site… !N.B. : Lyon followers have taught me the name of these buildings : These are some traboules ! - With our friends, walk in the old Lyon, St. George and St. John neighborhoods. I recommend it, It's typical and charming ! We enjoyed it very much.

After spending a great evening at the Smoking Dog, I sat naked in our building to end the evening ! It was exciting, because we could hear neighbours talking behind the doors, move…
On the other hand, Lyon was fatal at several levels to us :
1. my shoes have died down the Basilica of Fourvière, j’ai du rentrer pieds nus dans la rue
2. in 2 days, I took 3 pounds. I'm so glad we only stayed the week ! The food is delicious (memory moved to the sausage in brioche). I usually do 47 kg and there… 50 Kg. But that is what I loved ! Je ne le regrette pas et ça repartira comme c’est venu. Je suis régimophobe, on a qu’une vie et ce n’est pas pour compter ses calories !

J’avoue que toi comme guide dans le vieux Lyon cela donne une dimension toute autre à cette ville qui est déjà très belle (bon elle ne vaut pas Paris, huh ? 😉 )
